Doctoral Degree: Interdisciplinary Studies, Science and Theology, Union Institute and University, Cincinnati.  Coursework: history and philosophy of science, theology and doctrinal development, cosmology, process theology, global community, current theories of complex systems dynamics, self-organization, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, and emergent phenomena.  Dissertation: A Model-Based Comparison of Emergent Complexity and Process Thought: Identifying and Assessing Consonance and Conflict.  Committee dissertation approval: December 2005. Degree pending administrative processing.

Masters Degree: Interdisciplinary Studies, California State University, Fullerton.

Current Professional Projects 

Orion Institute and Observatory
Directing the Institute’s Science and Spirituality project. The project’s components include courses for life-long learning programs, public presentation, adult education, and regular college curriculum as well as the development of conferences and seminars, edited proceedings, and books for both peer and popular audiences.
